Description
Issued to most helicopter and jet pilots during the Vietnam War would be this: Combat survival knife with honing stone and leather sheath as shown in our photos. This came from a veteran's estate and was used during the 1960's. The butt on the survival knife was used as a hammer if needed or a defensive weapon. It is stamped Camillus and dated Jan. 1967 as seen in one of our photos. The saw type blade has been sharpened and the sheath shows a fair amount of wear and patina. The sheath has brass snaps to secure the knife and honing stone. Just an all around great display item of militaria from the Vietnam War and perfect for any collector.
