Vietnam Era US Navy Seals MK 3 MOD 0 Knife & USN Scabbard - Marked: 3V276 - Unissued Condition
Up for sale is a Vietnam Era US Navy MK 3 MOD 0 Knife & USN Scabbard.  This knife was developed during the Vietnam era for use by the US Navy Seals.  The knife has a Blackened Stainless Steel Blade with a hard rubber handle.  The scabbard was made with molded polymer material and a nylon Upper Belt Attachment.  This design was considered suitable for work in wet environments.  The materials would not rust or rot in the damp and wet condition in which the Seals operated.  The knife is in Unissued Condition.  No nicks or chips in the blade.  No evidence of sharpening.  No rust or pitting on the blade.  The blade is marked: USN MK3 MOD 0 & 3V276.  The handle is also marked USN.
