This groovy little time capsule comes in the form of a Southern Comfort bar guide for happy hours, a freebie we found in a 1970 issue of Life Magazine. It comprises 12 pages of partying young couples enjoying theme parties and drinks recommended by SoCo. Though many of the drinks do in fact contain or recommend the sweet whiskey liqueur, there are recipes for such classics as gimlets, martinis, grasshoppers and Manhattans.
It is in very good-excellent condition, except for one tiny slit at the edge where it was stapled (see photos).
