Alexandria Virginia Police 2021 59th Presidential Inauguration challenge coin.
This coin was commissioned to celebrate the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. For many years the Alexandria Police Department has sent a contingent of officers to assist the DC Metropolitan Police during the presidential inauguration events. The front of this coin features the commemorative badge, and the back features a scaled up version of the center seal of the badge which shows the White House’s famous columns in great detail. This coin was only available to members of the department in 2021.
